80+ Years in the making

The CMAC is one of the oldest, most respected, not-for-profit national trade associations representing the manufacturers and first importers of chocolate, sugar confectionery, chewing gum, cough and portable breath fresheners as well as their suppliers in a $2.3 billion industry.

Manufacturers are located from Dartmouth N.S. to Victoria, B.C. and the industry employs directly and indirectly over 70,000 Canadians in up and downstream operations. Membership includes local, regional, national and multi-national companies of all sizes incorporating the manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, ingredients, packaging materials and other goods and services.
